Short Biography

Salvatore Esposito was born in Latina, Italy, in 1976.
He received the Laurea (M.Sc.) degree in Telecommunications Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome in 2005 and 2010, respectively.
The Ph.D. thesis is titled: "Multi Sensor System for Landmine Detection".
He is active in research at the Humanitarian Demining Laboratory and he collaborated with the Italian Ministry of Economical Development, VoIP Laboratory.
He is involved in scientific and industrial research projects funded by the European Space Agency, the Italian Ministry of Research, and private enterprises.
He is co-founder of Oben s.r.l., a reseach-intesive spin-off company active in UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), embedded systems design, and multi-phisics simulation.
His current research interests include: signal and image processing, artificial vision, autonomous flying for UAV.
